The Greater Nashville Auburn Club is an officially chartered group of Auburn University alumni & friends located in the Greater Nashville Metro Area.
With more than 5,100 Auburn alumni in the area, the Greater Nashville Auburn Club is one of the largest clubs outside of Alabama.

Meet the Board
Lindsay Parriott, Interim President & VP Operations
Born and raised in Birmingham, Ala., Lindsay Johnson Parriott graduated from Auburn in 2005 with a degree in public relations. While at Auburn, she was a freshman orientation leader, a member of Alpha Delta Pi, a 4-year member of the Student Government Association, and Miss Homecoming 2004.
She moved to Nashville, TN in 2006, where she had a quick career in advertising before joining the events and catering department at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. For ten years, Lindsay was a stabilizing force for the Museum through a recession, flood, and a $100 million dollar expansion, which opened in 2014. She traded boots for backpacks in 2018 and now works in the college counseling office at a k-12 private school.
In 2019, Lindsay was named Secretary/Treasurer of the Greater Nashville Auburn Club. Under her leadership, the club has raised more than $80,000 for its endowed scholarship in five years, and been recognized out of more than 130 clubs and affiliates with multiple awards including Best Communication (2019, 2020, 2021), Best Young Alumni Program (2021) and Most Outstanding Service to Students (2022). Lindsay was recently honored as Auburn University Alumni Association’s 2022 Club Leader of the Year. Lindsay is a lifetime member of the Auburn Alumni Association, a member of the Foy Society and served on the Auburn University College of Liberal Arts Dean's Advisory Council.
Lindsay lives in Franklin, TN with her husband and children.
Megan Ward, VP Advancement
Megan hails from Melbourne, FL. She graduated from Auburn in 2020 with a degree in Communications with a minor in Non-Profit and Philanthropy Studies. During her time at Auburn, she was involved with Kappa Kappa Gamma Panhellenic Sorority and Auburn University Dance Marathon (AUDM). Aside from campus involvement, she interned with Third Lens Ministries as the Marketing and Communications intern as well as with the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce in their Events and Tourism Department.
In 2020, Megan made the move to Nashville, TN where she now works for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as an Event Sales Manager. In addition to serving as VP Advancement for the Greater Nashville Auburn Club, Megan also serves as an Advisor for Vanderbilt’s chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma Panhellenic Sorority.
In her free time, Megan loves to embrace everything Nashville and Middle Tennessee has to offer through golfing, going on walks, concerts, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops. She also enjoys traveling with her friends and family, and of course cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
Russell McLendon, VP Engagement
Originally from Gardendale, AL, he graduated from Auburn University in 2013 with a Degree in Supply Chain Management from the Harbert School of Business. During his time at Auburn, he was involved with the University Program Committee as well as the Auburn Supply Chain Management Association.
Currently Russell is a Transportation Analyst for Tractor Supply Company based out of Brentwood TN. He monitors transportation analytics within the Truck, Tool, and Hardware division. Outside of being VP of Engagement for the Greater Nashville Auburn Club, he also serves on the Young Alumni Board of Directors for the Haslam College of Business (University of Tennessee) as well as Secretary/Treasurer for the Veterans Engagement groups at Tractor Supply.
Russell is married to his beautiful wife Katye and has a son named Ford and a rambunctious Golden-doodle named Penny. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and checking out a new brewery once in a while. Just like most Auburn Fans the passion for sports runs deep. He enjoys watching Auburn sports whenever they are on TV and always rooting for a win. War Eagle!
Lanier Daniel, VP Outreach
Lanier graduated from Auburn in 2017. During her time on the plains, her favorite involvement was Project Uplift, a campus organization that focused on mentoring Lee County children. Other groups she had her hand in include, PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America, Beat Bama Food Drive, and her sorority, Phi Mu where their dedicated philanthropy was Children’s Miracle Network. FTK!
Currently, Lanier supports Sagemont Real Estate's advisory and brokerage services for commercial owners, occupiers, and investors. Prior to Sagemont, she worked in operational and marketing roles for both residential and commercial real estate businesses.
Even though she has lived in Nashville for nearly 6 years, as a native of Atlanta, she’s a big fan of the Braves, Falcons, and her beloved Auburn Tigers. In her spare time, you can find Lanier enjoying the outdoors, reading the latest on Reese Witherspoon’s book club list, or exploring Nashville’s vibrant restaurant scene with her husband and fellow Auburn '17 graduate Jack.
Evan Thomas, Past President (2019-2024)
Originally from Dothan, Ala., Evan graduated from Auburn in 2007 with a degree in communication. As a student, Evan was involved in FarmHouse Fraternity, Auburn University Singers, Concert Choir and served as a Plainsman. From 2004-2006, he was a “Friend of Aubie,” winning the title of UCA National Mascot Champion in 2006.
Since graduation, he has lived in Nashville, Washington, D.C. and back in Auburn, where he worked as the first in-house recruiter for the College of Liberal Arts and as the Development Associate for the College of Architecture, Design, & Construction.
In 2018, he returned to Nashville for good to join his twin brother, Elliott, in real estate. The Thomas Twins Team has now grown to three agents, one admin assistant, and a transaction coordinator. They are a multi-year award-winning real estate team, the top producing agents in their office, and in the top 10% of their company and the Greater Nashville Realtors Association.
From May 2019-May 2024, Evan became the President of the Greater Nashville Auburn Club, winning Auburn Alumni Association’s Club Leader of the Year less than a year later in February 2020. Under his leadership, the club has raised more than $80,000 for its endowed scholarship in five years, and been recognized out of more than 120 Auburn clubs and affiliates with multiple awards including Best Communication and Best Young Alumni Program. In 2022, Evan was selected for Auburn University's inaugural class of 20 Under 40 alumni honorees. He was appointed to serve on Auburn Alumni Association's Board of Directors in 2023.
In his free time, Evan enjoys karaoke, exploring Nashville’s exceptional & growing restaurant scene, spending time with his bernedoodle, Koda, and sitting around a fire with wine & friends.
